Call of Mystra

Who We Are

Our Golden Rule is: "Be excellent to each other!"

Call of Mystra is a social, semi-casual, LGBT friendly guild looking for like-minded people to join us in our adventures! We have an international membership whose first priority is to enjoy playing the game with a group of friends, and our interests vary; our members participate in all aspects of the game. We are legit players; we do not glitch or use exploits, and instead emphasize learning our respective classes and trying new strategies to complete challenging content. Although we don't roleplay much, RPers are welcome if they want a positive, social atmosphere.

With all this in mind, we require that our members be welcoming and accepting of all players, no matter their race, religion, or lifestyle. Discrimination will not be tolerated and will result in the swift application of the Ban Hammer (tm). It is important to us to maintain a drama-free environment that is friendly to everyone.

Our Governing Structure

We aren't big on authority. When we're not dealing with member complaints, your guild leaders and officers are running around and having fun just like everyone else. As a guild - and as a team - that's our highest priority.

Generally, we try to be democratic. Huge changes or policy discussions (for example, the legit-vs.-glitching problem) will be put up for a guild-wide vote. For smaller changes (relating to the bank, VC, etc.), the officer team will discuss and vote amongst themselves, usually with feedback from other guild members in chat. We're always willing to discuss these things so don't be afraid to bring it up.

Membership Expectations

We don't have many rules, but we expect you to follow the ones we outline here. When you submit your application, you agree to abide by these guidelines.

  1. Don't be a jerk. Don't insult people, call them names, ditch people in dungeons or pvp, etc.
  2. If you have a conflict with another member, take it to an officer for arbitration.
  3. Do not spam guild chat with arguments. Take it to PM or mail.
  4. Do not glitch/exploit bugs, or talk about such things.
  5. Loot rolls are NEED only, unless the party agrees otherwise.

We also have a few general policies for guild parties that run endgame content:

We are happy to explain or elaborate as needed, but these are the rules we expect you to follow when you're a part of Call of Mystra. Your officers will do their best to be fair when problems come up, but that takes time-- and we're not perfect, after all. If you want a quick resolution, come to us with screenshots or conversation transcripts.

How to get an invitation in-game

To find the guild in-game, hit "O," go to the 'find a guild' tab, and type in "Call of Mystra." View the guild description, and it should have a list of people currently online who can invite. Additionally, if you happen to be grouping with someone in the guild and are interested, simply message them to ask about our recruitment status.

If you can't find us that way, try mailing or PMing the guild leaders: @seraphimrush or @vespera33.

New members join as Mystrans (guests). Once you register an account here on the website and fill out an application form it will take over a week, assuming we all get along, to get promoted to one of our three Orders (full member status) and that's that. :d

Bottom Line

As a member you are ALWAYS a Representative of our guild. We want to maintain a strong reputation in the gaming community and strive to make a positive impact. Never forget that you carry Call of Mystra's name above your head at all times, and conduct yourself in a manner which will earn respect from your fellow players. Take pride in being a part of our guild and make those around you happy to see our name.
